Deol plays the role of Ajay Singh, a man from Bombay who travels with his family to Goa for their vacation. In the process of finding transport from Mumbai to Goa over the weekend, he finds himself entangled with a few locals and four backpackers played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez. After he gets into an argument with his wife, he decides to drive home by himself. The same night, while returning home, Singh ends up getting into an accident and is forced to spend the night in the hospital. While there, he meets Max (Tusshar Kapoor) and his three friends Vicky (Riteish Deshmukh), Zoravar (Rajpal Yadav) and Karan (Kunal Khemu). Max, Vicky, Zoravar and Karan are four backpackers from London who have come to Goa to enjoy their vacation. They drive to a club that night where they meet Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore and Deepika Padukone. The girls are out for a girls' night out with Sharmila's niece Nikki (Jacqueline Fernandez) who is a backup dancer for a popular singer in India named Aftab Singh Randhawa. Sharmila is the mother of Nandita (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan). The girls come to the club by cab. The next day, Singh offers his car to the four backpackers who agree to drive his car home. The movie has many funny scenes, including an absurd fight scene near the end between Singh and Max over whose turn it is to drive the car home.
